Talleres Culturales y Legales is a program by the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires, aimed at providing training on copyright and intellectual property issues for the cultural sector.
The initiative is structured in modules where experts from the field reflect on law and legal frameworks as applied to cultural productions. The goal is to provide creative professionals with the legal tools they need to successfully carry out their projects.
My role in this project was to design the program’s visual identity, digital flyers for different social platforms, and various motion graphic pieces.
The key concepts that guided the design process were:
The visual proposal serves a dual purpose: to convey a sense of formality—given the legal nature of the workshops—while also embracing a modern feel suited to the art and culture sector. To achieve visual appeal, saturated colors and a bold typeface with strong personality were chosen.
A reduced color palette was used to establish a clear and consistent identity. Gradients were introduced as a design resource to symbolize the learner’s progress and development throughout the educational journey. This smooth transition from one color to another serves as a visual metaphor for the listener’s evolution—from a lack of knowledge to a full understanding of the subject. Additionally, the use of simple geometric shapes helps create a clean, timeless, and universal visual style.
Together, these design choices come together to deliver a cohesive and effective visual representation of the program’s essence and goals.
