Festival Literatura Joven BRANDING MOTION GRAPHICS LIT is a youth-focused literature festival that took place over three days across two locations: Florida Street and Parque de la Estación in the city of Buenos Aires. The festival offered a wide variety of events for young audiences, including talks, interviews with authors and bookfluencers, creative writing workshops, voguing and K-pop performances, cosplay contests, live music shows, and an independent publishing fair. The main goal was to promote culture and create a space where young people could connect with literature and discover diverse voices. For this project, my role was to design the festival’s visual identity, digital assets for social media, and printed materials. The core concepts that guided the design process were: → Fantasy → Youth → Intensity → Fun → Boldness Design Concept Set the Page on Fire The visual identity created for the LIT Youth Literature Festival reflects the core values of the event: boldness, intensity, and a playful spirit that speaks directly to young audiences. The logo features a simplified flame inside the letter ‘i’—an emoji widely used among young people to symbolize something exciting, powerful, or “on fire.” This touch adds a sense of rebellion and uniqueness to the identity, while the subtle wiggle effect enhances the playful tone. Typography is used boldly, immediately catching the viewer’s eye. Macro words and layered text elements contribute a dynamic, fun quality to the graphic language. A distinctive visual element is the inclusion of stickers—playful elements that bring an informal and youthful character to the designs. A grunge-style texture ties everything together, adding an edgy, carefree attitude. The color palette combines warm, vibrant tones that convey energy and emotion with cooler hues that add freshness and balance. This contrast allows for visually striking pieces that capture the festival’s youthful spirit. The LIT identity promises an unforgettable and high-energy experience. It’s a design proposal that speaks the language of young people—bold, fun, and uniquely their own.
